I have been a patient at psychiatry UK for around three years. I was referred by my GP through NHS Right to Choose and couldn’t believe how quick I received my appointment and then was able to get diagnosed with ADHD. I didnt need any further support until around 5 months ago when I felt it was time to try medication. I went back into my portal and requested to receive medication and was referred to the tritiation team, within weeks I was updated with where I was in the process and a few more after that my first prescription was issued. My prescriber Rebecca Salazar would answer all my questions so clearly and quickly. I would upload a note on my portal and within days have received an answer. Whenever I had any issues and wanted to change my medication I would be listened to and the change would happen. My meds were delivered within a week and regular check ins on the portal were always happening. I really don’t know where I would be without Rebecca, despite only engaging through the portal, she was very good at her job and getting me to where I needed to go on my journey with ADHD meds.
